ColorTip is: 

  • A Computer Vision database for gesture recognition and fingertip localization using Kinect.
 
ColorTip consists of:
  • 7 training sequences of between 600-2000 depth frames (7 subjects x 2 challenges)
    • Hand Gesture annotation among 9 gesture labels (+ no gesture label). Remark the strong intra-class variation of the selected gestures! 
    • Fingertip annotation using a colored glove for automatic annotation: finger label + image coordinates
