i3media was one of the 15 large projects of technological industrial research selected in the second call of the Spanish Cenit program, in the framework of the Ingenio 2010 initiative and addressed to foster the cooperation between public and private sectors in R&D.

The overall project was assigned a bedget of nearly 35 M€ and involved more than first-class 140 researchers to help the national agents to be in the state of the art regarding multimedia content research.

i3media focus in the technologies for the automatic creation and management of smart content. It aimed at supporting the audiovisual market with the best technologies for content production, management, delivery and explotatition.
