Productive start of 2013: four journals published, two CVPRs accepted & more
Four new journal papers authored by Image Processing Group members have been published in the two first months of 2013:
- From Global Image Annotation to Interactive Object Segmentation. Multimedia Tools and Applications. 2014 ;70. .
- Processing Multidimensional SAR and Hyperspectral Images With Binary Partition Tree. Proceedings of the IEEE. 2013 ;101(3):723 - 747. .
- Detecting End-Effectors on 2.5D data using Geometric Deformable Models: Application to Human Pose Estimation. Computer Vision and Image Understanding (CVIU). 2013 ;117(3). .
- Hyperspectral image representation and processing with Binary Partition Trees. IEEE Transactions on Image Processing. 2013 ;22(4):1430 - 1443. .
and two conference papers have been recently accepted for CVPR 2013:
- Measures and Meta-Measures for the Supervised Evaluation of Image Segmentation. In: Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR). Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR). ; 2013. .
- Hierarchical Video Representation with Trajectory Binary Partition Tree. In: Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR). Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR). Portland, Oregon; 2013. .
Additionally, two datasets (Kinect FG and Mediapro-UPC) and one software implementation (Trajectory BPT) have been made available in the GPI web site in these two months.
Last but not least, the GPI connection to the Mobile World Congress was on the evening news of Televisió de Catalunya.
Congratulations to the contributors!
