Description

INPERCEPT (Intelligent Perception for connected and autonomous vehicles) main objective is to advance in development of key enabling technologies providing enhanced capabilities to allow autonomous vehicles to operate more energy-efficiently and safely, and to be able to detect obstacles in adverse conditions.

In the context of InPercept, Capgemini Engineering develops a new radar system in order to improve autonomous perception by data fusion from several sensors (radar, cameras, GNSS), with the aim of detecting pedestrians and vulnerable vehicles, and to skip potentially dangerous situations with increased precision depending on environmental conditions. UPC contributes data fusion technologies for radar and video detection for Capgemini.
