Pablo will present a snapshot of recent work at the UC Berkeley Computer Vision group on three topics. Links to the papers below:

Pablo Arbelaez's short bio:
Researcher in the Computer Vision Group at UC Berkeley, working with Jitendra Malik. Also a member of the Bioimaging Group at LBNL. Pablo's field of research is the modeling of visual perception. He has worked in grouping and perceptual organization and his current research focuses on the interaction between low and high-level information in vision. He is also interested in the analysis of visual data for a better understanding of biological problems.
