Virtual reality simulations have been long considered as a powerful tool for a variety of applications ranging from construction, architecture, to entertainment, education, etc. Lately there has been an increasing interest also in the health domain involving virtual patient simulations. The talk will focus on the properties of a virtual human in contradiction to a robot and an animated character, while latest developments in the field of Virtual Physiological Human will be outlined.
