VC - Computer Vision

The aim of the course is to provide an overview of important image and video processing techniques, with special emphasis on content-analysis applications. Techniques include feaure extraction, object detection, tracking and recognition, principles of camera geometry, capture and display technology. Application examples, such as face recognition, foreground object extraction or 3DTV, are provided to illustrate the techniques.
